Class Schedule

Early class registration for returning CHEB members will begin April 15.

New student registration for middle and high school classes will open May 1 for the 2023-2024 school year.

New elementary students may request placement in Learning Zone by clicking on the Elementary Classes Waitlist link under the Elementary tab at left.

CHEB Classes

CHEB meets on Mondays from 9 am to 4 pm at Tates Creek Christian Church. We offer core subject and elective courses to middle and high school students.

We also have an elementary group called Learning Zone for K-5th graders which provides enrichment classes from 12:30-3:30 p.m. This group has limited spaces and gives priority to long-term homeschool families.

CHEB Mission Statement

CHEB exists to glorify God bringing homeschool families together to encourage parents, support students, and provide educational and fellowship opportunities.

CHEB classes are designed to give parents assistance with core and elective classes in the middle and high school years. Students attend classes one day each week and are given assignments to complete throughout the rest of the week. This is an environment where instructors join with parents for the purpose of educating their children in an independent fashion.

CHEB classes are cooperatives of teachers who serve as facilitators in the homeschooling experience. Our courses are not meant to replace parental oversight. We expect that parents will supervise their students on a daily basis.

Through years of experience, we have found that certain students do poorly with the university model environment and would get a superior education through other alternatives. CHEB classes are not suited for students who have had trouble with motivation, study habits, academic performance or attitude but are excellent opportunities for those with special academic needs, such as gifted/talented, in sports/equestrian training, or other extra-curricular pursuits that require flexible schooling options.
