You'll essentially be the helpers for the entire day. Please arrive at 12:15pm. You'll be expected to assist with the following; |
| *Class dismissal from announcements | ||
| *Brain Breaks - supervising snack, outside time, gym time, or a possible game | ||
| *Hands-on activities in classrooms | ||
| *You will sub for any teacher assigned to that day who is unable to fulfill their responsibilities. Whenever possible, Elementary Coordinator will notify you that you're needed before co-op starts that day. | ||
| Preschool Helper | PH | You'll spend the entire day assisting the Preschool Teacher. Please arrive in the classroom by 12:25, you'll also assist with cleaning the preschool room at the end of the day. |
| 1st Hour Teachers | You'll arrive by 12:15p.You'll escort your class from the dismissal area to your classroom. You'll communicate habitual tardies with the Elementary Coordinator. (See Teacher Contract of expectations) | |
| 2nd Hour Teachers | You may be asked to sub or assist in 1st or 3rd hour if something occurs last minute since you will already be there. Ensure students are supervised at all times and are passed off to the next teacher or an aide during brain breaks. (See Teacher Contract of expectations) | |
| 3rd Hour Teachers | You will escort students to the dismissal area. Please ensure your classroom is tidy and all furniture is back where it belongs. Ensure windows are shut and all fans and lights are off. (See Teacher Contract Expectations) | |
| Cleaning Families | You will ensure rooms and bathrooms are clean and tidy and reset. This includes, but is not limited to moving furniture, taking out trash, closing windows, vacuuming rooms used, and turning off lights. | |
