How to Join CHEB

Process for New Members to Register for CHEB 2026-27

  1. New members must complete the New Family Questionnaire and email it to the registrar, Melissa Kramer ([email protected]). You can find that document here: CHEB New Family Questionnaire - Google Docs

  2. After this document is reviewed, new members will be invited to visit CHEB and interview with a board member on one of the following Mondays: March 9th, March 30th, or April 13th.  The registrar will email you a link to sign up for a visit date and time. This is a requirement to be considered for membership.

  3. Registration will open to new members starting the week of April 20th. New members will not be able to fill out the online application or make payment until after this date and time and only by invitation after visiting on one of the dates above. Our co-op is currently full and we are only able to add new members as current members graduate or choose not to return.  We will not know how many spaces we have available and for what ages/grades until after our current members register starting April 10th. We will start notifying new families the week of April 20th to let you know if you will be able to register or not.

  4. If you have been notified that there is a spot open for your family you will be able to click on the JOIN link at www.cheblex.com after being contacted by the registrar. This link will only be visible during open registration periods.

  5. Click on the REQUEST MEMBERSHIP link in the Membership Login Area.

  6. Fill out our online registration form and submit.

  7. You will assign your own username and password during the registration process.

  8. The CHEB Registrar will review and approve submissions in the order that they are received. (Please note: The CHEB Board, Registrar included, are all volunteer, homeschooling moms. We will work to approve applications in a timely manner and you should receive notification within 48 hours of submission.)

  9. Once your application is approved, you will be able to log in to your CHEB account, make payment of the annual membership fee and select classes for your middle and high school students.

  10. If you have been notified by our Elementary School Coordinator that your elementary school aged child is being offered an open spot in our program you can follow the steps above to register but you will not need to select classes for your child. They will be assigned to a class based on their age and the Elementary School Coordinator will let you know what color class your child is in.

  11. If you have not been offered a spot in our elementary school program for your elementary-aged student but you have a middle and/or high school aged student you may be approved to register your older students for classes but will not be able to register younger students until a spot is available.
